Info
Jack White plays 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin, on 2 September 2026. Born in Detroit as John Anthony Gillis, he broke through at the turn of the 2000s with The White Stripes, the duo with Meg White whose stripped-down writing drew on garage rock, blues rock and punk blues, putting riffs and voice up front. After the duo ended, he widened the frame: The Raconteurs with Brendan Benson, The Dead Weather, and a solo path opened by Blunderbuss (2012), followed by Lazaretto (2014), Boarding House Reach (2018) and the twin 2022 albums Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive.
Long based in Nashville, he launched Third Man Records and kept expanding his palette, folding folk, country, soul and a few experimental detours into a sound that still leans on short forms, abrasive guitars and a strong link to American blues roots. In 2024 he released No Name, extending a catalogue shared between bands, production and personal projects. Live, this mix lands raw and direct, moving from stripped riffage to more melodic turns without losing the thread.
