Death in Vegas

Death in Vegas, the project led by Richard Fearless since the mid-90s, brings its hybrid of rock and electronics to Button Factory in Dublin on 4 May 2026. Built between studio craft and DJ culture, the live set leans into the group’s arc from Dead Elvis and The Contino Sessions to Scorpio Rising, Satan’s Circus, Trans-Love Energies and Transmission: big-beat and trip-hop roots, dub swerves, krautrock-inspired drones, hard-edged guitars and machine-fired rhythms.

On stage, Fearless folds gritty riffs into looping patterns and low-end pulses, favouring long, hypnotic builds over verse-chorus fireworks. Vocals surface as textures and echoes more than lead spots, a method honed through collaborations with Iggy Pop, Bobby Gillespie, Hope Sandoval or Liam Gallagher. The motorik drive tightens, then bleeds into acid-washed techno sequences before sliding back into smoky, psychedelic passages. It’s a set wired for a room where bass pressure, feedback and repetition carry the narrative, connecting club momentum to independent rock tension without breaking the thread.
