Info
Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox brings its time-warp pop to Vicar Street in Dublin on June 6, 2026. Founded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, the collective reimagines contemporary hits through vintage lenses: jazz swing, ragtime, doo-wop, soul, even big band. A rotating lineup keeps each show fresh, with singers and players who stamp familiar songs with their own phrasing and tone, guided by tight arrangements.
On stage, PMJ leans into the live feel: piano up front, a rhythm section that snaps, brass and reeds answering back, and harmonies that feel built for a late-night club. A rap hook might melt into a slow-burn croon, a chart chorus can twist into a Charleston, and an R&B melody slides toward a torch ballad. The set moves across eras without fuss, letting groove and vocals lead the way.
Born on YouTube and grown on tour, Postmodern Jukebox treats modern hits like future standards. It’s about arrangement, musicianship, and the pleasure of hearing well-known tracks recast with vintage colors, in the moment and in the room.
