Titiyo

Titiyo plays Villa Belparc in Göteborg on 23 July 2026. A key figure in Swedish pop-soul since the early 90s, the Stockholm-born artist blends R&B roots with concise pop writing and subtle electronic textures. She emerged from Stockholm’s late-80s scene and released her self-titled debut in 1990, followed by This Is Titiyo in 1993 and Extended in 1997. Come Along in 2001 sharpened the melodic line and opened a wider audience, then came A Collection of Songs in 2004. She also teamed up with Kleerup on Longing for Lullabies in 2008 and explored a more atmospheric sound on Hidden the same year.

In 2015, 13 Gården marked a shift to Swedish-language songwriting, weaving personal narratives into a lean, modern production. That path continued through to Hemland in 2025. On stage, Titiyo’s catalogue stretches across these chapters, moving between soulful phrasing, steady grooves and pop hooks that can lean intimate or dancefloor-friendly, with arrangements that keep the focus on the voice and the song.
