Sven Ingvars - Igår. Idag. Imorgon. 70 år.

Sven-Ingvars celebrates seven decades on stage with Igår. Idag. Imorgon. 70 år., a set built around the group’s long arc from early rock’n’roll and pop to the dansband sound that shaped their later years. Formed in 1956 in Slottsbron, Värmland, the band stitched Swedish-language refrains to guitars and dancefloor swing, leaving tracks like Te’ dans me’ Karlstatösera, Fröken Fräken, Börja om från början or Vid din sida in the national songbook. In 1963, at a concert in Karlstad, the Beatles opened for them, a footnote that says a lot about their place in that era.

Lineups have changed across the years: after the passing of singer Sven-Erik Magnusson in 2017, his son Oscar Magnusson took over on vocals, keeping the balance between pop hooks, rock roots and the Swedish dance tradition. This anniversary show moves through yesterday, today and tomorrow, revisiting early 60s grooves, 70s dansband staples and later material with the same straight-ahead energy that made the songs travel.
