On 15 June 2026 at Dom Kultury Słowianin in Szczecin, The Exploited bring the 45 Years Punks Not Dead tour. Formed in late-70s Edinburgh and still led by Wattie Buchan, the band helped cement the UK82 meeting point between street punk and hardcore: abrasive guitars, fast tempos, chant-along refrains and direct lyrics. On stage, that formula stays lean. The set draws on Punk’s Not Dead and Troops of Tomorrow, early singles like Army Life and Exploited Barmy Army, and the heavier turn of The Massacre, Beat the Bastards and Fuck the System. Themes remain the same—urban tension, unemployment, distrust of institutions—delivered with clipped riffs and gang vocals. Forty-five years on, The Exploited keep the focus on speed and precision, Wattie’s rasp out front and songs cut short and sharp. A show rooted in the origins of UK punk and its later metallic edge.
