Major Lazer

Major Lazer lands at Cabana in Toronto on June 7, 2026 for a set shaped by the trio’s blend of electronic and Caribbean club music. Launched in 2008 and now anchored by Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums, the project fuses dancehall, reggae, moombahton, soca, hip-hop and reggaeton, with vocals and riddims designed for the dancefloor. From early cuts on Guns Don’t Kill People... Lazers Do and Free the Universe to the more pop-leaning Peace Is the Mission and Music Is the Weapon, their catalogue moves between soundsystem culture and global radio without losing its Jamaican roots.

On stage, Major Lazer stacks edits, dub versions and quick-fire transitions, shifting from bashment and global bass to their crossover singles. Expect Lean On (with DJ Snake and MØ), Cold Water (with MØ and Justin Bieber) and nods to their work on Snoop Lion’s Reincarnated, alongside fresh blends and unreleased cuts. The performance keeps the focus on rhythm: offbeat snares, low-end pressure and call-and-response led by Walshy Fire, with Ape Drums tightening the groove while Diplo drives the selection.
