Le Mélo Festival will take place at Plaza Repentigny in Repentigny on June 4, 2026, featuring a lineup that brings together Fredz and Alicia Moffet.
Fredz draws a fluid line between rap, pop and hip-hop, placing singing and intimate storytelling at the center. A self-taught guitarist discovered after posting online freestyles and later signed to East 47th Music, he refined his universe through an EP and a mixtape before releasing albums such as Personne ne touche le ciel, Astronaute, Demain il fera beau and On s’enverra des fleurs. On stage he alternates between crisp melodies and more rap-like phrasings, in songwriting nourished by French rap and the Quebec music scene.
Alicia Moffet delivers contemporary pop tinged with R&B and electronic influences, with her voice prominently featured. First revealed at a very young age on The Next Star and later noticed on La Voix, she has developed a repertoire that mixes ballads and more upbeat tracks, in both English and French. Since Billie Ave., she has released new songs and collaborations, which she brings to her concerts in a set that moves between intimate moments and more direct numbers.
