On May 9, 2026 at Malkin Bowl in Vancouver, it’s murph brings the Weightless Tour to the open air. Based between Nashville and Los Angeles, the DJ/producer works at the crossroads of house, bass music and melodic dance: thick low-end, airy textures and slow-burn builds that trace a clear emotional arc. Trained on piano and choir before turning to decks and production, he sharpened his approach at USC and through early club sets, then emerged in the early 2020s with tracks circulating online. The single Food For The Soul marked a first milestone and set a template that balances peak-time drive with wide-open melodies, built for the dancefloor as much as for a more immersive listen.
Sharing the bill, VNSSA grew up in California and first hit stages as a drummer in indie bands before moving into DJing and production. Her sound moves between house and techno, bass-forward and percussive, with a direct, no-frills tension. Active since the late 2010s, she has released on Dirtybird, Higher Ground, Sweat It Out and Three Six Zero Recordings, and co-signed the club track I Don’t Remember with Walker & Royce. She also explores a rawer indie-dance edge with Nala in the duo Girl Math.
