Julien Clerc returns to the stage on March 21, 2027 at the Espace Carat – Parc des Expositions et des Congrès du Grand Angoulême, in L’Isle-d’Espagnac. A singer and pianist who emerged in the late 1960s, he has spanned the decades with a repertoire where romanticism and modernity meet effortlessly. The program features songs that have shaped several generations — from “Ce n’est rien” to “Femmes, je vous aime,” including “Ma préférence,” “Mélissa” and “Fais-moi une place” — alongside more recent titles. His clear voice, precise diction and instinct for melody create an immediate intimacy, between carefully arranged pieces and more stripped-down moments at the piano. On stage he alternates orchestral flights with intimate pauses, maintaining that way of inhabiting the words that is his signature. The concert is designed to reconnect with classics, explore new pages and let the songs circulate between memory and the present, in a simple, direct atmosphere.
