Info
Dying Fetus and Sanguisugabogg touch down at Danforth Music Hall, Toronto, on September 23, 2026, on a bill carved out of American death metal. Since 1991, Dying Fetus has blended brutal death with technical turns, delivering dense riffs, sharp breaks and a pair of cavernous vocalists. From Destroy the Opposition to Make Them Beg for Death, the Maryland trio moves with millimetric precision, alternating razor‑edge acceleration and heavy drops.
Sanguisugabogg offers the Ohio take: a death metal that’s both groovy and viscous, fed by slam accents, crushing mid‑tempos and abyssal vocals. From Pornographic Seizures to Homicidal Ecstasy, their songwriting relies on repetition, bounce and hooks that hit hard in the pit.
Crowbar opens another facet—the NOLA touch between sludge, doom and slowed‑down hardcore. Deeply down‑tuned guitars, taut slowness and a rasping vocal: Kirk Windstein’s signature spans three decades up to Zero and Below, with that sense of weight that settles and insists.
Left to Suffer completes the bill on the nu‑deathcore side: staccato rhythms, massive low end and vocals that shift from growls to high screams, following on from Feral and the 2024 release Leap of Death. An evening that links methodical brutality with dark groove, straight to the point.
