On January 28, 2027 at La Carène in Brest, Pierre De Maere takes the stage with his French-language pop tinged with chanson and electropop. Born in Uccle and trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he first explored photography before returning to composition, following with Potins absurdes, Regrets and Menteur, then Un jour, je marierai un ange. His plainspoken writing and melody-forward tunes convey a world where music and imagery move in step. After the EP Un jour, je (2022), conceived with his brother Xavier and produced with Valentin Marceau, he released Regarde‑moi in 2023, followed by the single Mercredi. In 2024 he appeared on a cover of These Walls in collaboration with Dua Lipa. In Brest, his set traces these touchstones—from early singles to tracks from Regarde‑moi—marked by candid storytelling and as much attention to stage presence as to visual aesthetics.
