Michael Schenker Group

Michael Schenker Group, led by the German guitarist who passed through Scorpions and then UFO, sets up its amps at La Laiterie in Strasbourg on 14 November 2026. Born in London in 1979, MSG cultivates a hard rock that leans toward heavy, where guitar melodies, crisp riffs and carefully crafted solos take center stage. With a line-up that has varied in shape since its beginnings, the band keeps Michael Schenker as its sole anchor, ensuring a clear musical direction and an immediately recognizable sound.

On stage, the repertoire spans several decades. The early years are represented by The Michael Schenker Group (1980), MSG (1981), Assault Attack (1982) and Built to Destroy (1983), echoing the live One Night at Budokan. The second phase, relaunched from 1995, includes Written in the Sand, The Unforgiven, Be Aware of Scorpions, Arachnophobiac, Tales of Rock’n’Roll, In the Midst of Beauty, up to the more recent Immortal and Universal. The concert is conceived with the guitar in the foreground, alternating incisive tracks, melodic mid-tempos and long instrumental flights, with the hard-rock and heavy tension that defines MSG’s signature.
