Assassin performing at Warehouse Nantes on Saturday, March 20, 2027. A French hip-hop group, Assassin has been active since the 1980s and is led by Rockin' Squat. A pioneer of conscious, independent hip-hop, the collective delivers uncompromising lyrics and artistic freedom. Assassin was the first French rap group to earn a gold record entirely independently through its label, Assassin Productions, and has sold more than one million albums.
In 2026 the group released a new album and launched a tour. The band can be seen live on stage.
