On 15 December 2026, Les Ateliers Magiques de Dani Lary in Barbières will host the on-stage encounter of Lynda Lemay and Jean-Félix Lalanne. Guitar-and-voice, in a pared-down format: Lemay’s narrative pen and Lalanne’s acoustic guitar respond to one another. Around their new album À fleur de cordes, the duo revisits a repertoire that blends signature songs and new pieces, carried by arrangements that remain as close to the text as possible. You’ll find everyday chronicles, portraits and confidences that form Lemay’s playground, with a sidestep between wry humor and more intimate moments. In counterpoint, Lalanne establishes a warm tonal palette built from fingerpicking, folk and jazz inflections, alternately providing harmonic support or delivering solo lines.
On stage, conversation takes precedence: an alternation of stories, sung dialogues and instrumental passages that allow the voice to breathe. Far from large ensembles, the duo seeks intimacy and nuance, allowing detours, variations and surprises within the set list. An evening conceived for listening to the words, following the melodies and letting the guitar draw the line.
