Jimmy Sax

On 20 March 2027 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, Jimmy Sax presents Toi & Moi, a set conceived for the stage in which the saxophone takes center stage. Under the name Jimmy Sax, French saxophonist and composer Jim Rolland blurs the lines between melodic house, deep house, instrumental pop and jazz-inflected echoes. His pieces advance on highly lyrical lines, driven by dance-ready rhythms, with extended improvisational passages that evolve each track live.

Seasoned in clubs and international events, he performs close to the audience, establishing a constant dialogue between breath and machines, and makes room for buildups, breaks and variations that give the live set its texture. Between electronic energy and acoustic grain, his playing seeks the pulse without sacrificing melody, linking catchy themes and spontaneous exchanges in a format where the moment matters as much as the composition. Toi & Moi promises an intimate encounter with his world, at the crossroads of the dancefloor and a jazz sensibility.
