Cora Yako

On May 22, 2026, Cora Yako plays Boxes Alcultura in Algeciras. From Madrid, the group moves through guitar-driven indie that swings between melancholy and immediacy: light passages that open the door to heavier bursts, clear choruses and a dry rhythmic backbone that tightens every song. Live, that oscillation is the core: they jump from whisper to noise, string together crescendos and sudden stops, and make contained anger coexist with melodies that linger.

After their self-titled 2023 album and an intense tour, the quartet enters a more mature, emotional phase. The first previews from Mil Pequeños Cortes (2026) point to a sharper sound without losing the pop pulse, with guitars up front and direct songwriting. On stage, the set mixes new material with cuts from earlier releases, in a concise song format that plays with contrasts: from a caress to an onslaught, from murmur to explosion.
