Info
On May 16, 2026, Sala Apolo in Barcelona welcomes Elderbrook with a DJ set aimed at the dancefloor that never loses its melodic edge. Under his given name, Alexander Kotz, the Londoner moved from indie and folk to electronic music in the mid-2010s. He first made his name with the EPs Simmer Down and Travel Slow, and has since built a bridge between melodic house, UK garage, flexible techno and electronic pop. The track “Cola” with CamelPhat in 2017 brought him to a global audience and earned him a Grammy nomination, before he went on to collaborate with Rudimental, Bob Moses and Diplo and release the albums Why Do We Shake in the Cold? (2020), Little Love (2023) and Another Touch (2024). In the booth he combines soulful vocal lines, elastic grooves and airy textures designed for the club.
Behind 1tbsp is Maxwell Byrne, a Brisbane producer also known as Golden Vessel. His project moves between indie-house and pop-leaning melodic house, featuring prominent basslines and guest vocals. After the EPs kanashī (2021), Joan (2022) and It’s Very Loud (2023), he released the album Mosquito Love in 2023 and has continued to add singles and collaborations. His sets balance club energy with attentive listening.
Bitter Babe, also known as Laura Solarte, completes the bill with a club-oriented selection. Also on the decks: Andrea Castells and Soltera.
