Yung Bae lands at Lee’s Palace in Toronto on August 7, 2026, with a set anchored in future funk and vaporwave. Born Dallas Cotton, the producer first made his mark with the Bae series (Bae, BAE 2, BA3, Skyscraper Anonymous, Bae: Side B), then B4E and Bae 5, shaping a palette built on disco, funk and 80s Japanese city pop samples, découped into tight, danceable grooves. After moving from Portland to Los Angeles, he steered toward more vocal, pop-leaning tracks while keeping the sample-driven backbone intact.

With Groove Continental: Side A and Side B, then BAE 6, Yung Bae pushes this blend toward a direct, club-focused funk, mixing brass touches, crisp drums and smooth synth lines. Collaborations with Brasstracks, Channel Tres, Jon Batiste or Nile Rodgers mark this shift without breaking from his retro-leaning aesthetic. On stage, he stitches loops and hooks into fluid transitions that play on nostalgia and present-day club energy. Special guests join for the night.
