Pikes presents « Closing Party »

On 6 October 2026, Pikes Presents Closing Party lands at 528 Ibiza in Sant Antoni de Portmany with Layo & Bushwacka!, the London duo of Layo Paskin and Matthew Benjamin, aka Bushwacka!. Shaped on the floor of The End — cofonded by Paskin, with Benjamin as resident — they built a tech house vocabulary that leans into house and breakbeat, guided by a drummer’s sense of groove. In the studio, from Low Life and Night Works to Feels Closer and Rising & Falling, they’ve honed dry, precise rhythms, supple basslines and sparing vocal or break-inflected touches, cut for the club but detailed enough for listening off the dancefloor. Their path also crosses a wider culture with Love Story vs. Finally and remixes for Orbital, Jakatta, Depeche Mode or Paul Oakenfold.

For this Ibiza closer, Layo & Bushwacka! dig deep and connect eras without fuss, stitching house propulsion, minimal tension and breakbeat inflexions with tight transitions. A set grounded in instinct and sound system dynamics, where rhythm and bass steer the night.
