Back to the Roots: On June 13, 2026, Oldschool meets the present at Gotec Karlsruhe. Talla 2XLC, Toni Rios and DJ Dag bring together different strands of the Frankfurt sound for a night that is squarely aimed at the essence of the dancefloor.
Talla 2XLC delivers powerful trance that sits between expansive harmonies and straightforward grooves. His sets play with cleanly crafted tension arcs, patiently building upward and hunting for the moment when melody and drive lock together.
Toni Rios favors a more techno-inflected approach: rolling basslines, stripped-back hooks, and concentrated drive in long mixes. No frills—just flow and timing that heat the room evenly.
DJ Dag, raised in Mörfelden and closely tied to the Sound of Frankfurt, bridges to the early club culture: venues like Dorian Gray, Omen and the hr3 Clubnight shaped his path; projects such as Dance 2 Trance, Peyote and Crazy Malamute sharpened his signature. His sets conceive trance as a journey—progressively structured, hypnotic in texture and grounded in the solid fundamentals of the Frankfurt club school.
