Magic System

Thirty years that Magic System has been bringing zouglou from Anoumabo to Francophone stages. A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino have built a repertoire where collective choruses intersect with everyday stories, a candid groove and a pulse cut for dancing. From Premier Gaou to Bouger Bouger and Magic in the Air, the classics line up alongside more recent tracks fed by afro-dance, urban pop and hints of coupé-décalé. Their trajectory between Abidjan, France and the international scene has honed a live sensibility that is simple and direct, with harmonies, call-and-response and percussion at the forefront.

The anniversary tour stops in Reims: see them on 20 February 2027 at the Reims Arena. On the program, a broad retrospective spanning three decades, from unifying hits to the songs that followed, arranged to make the whole venue sing along. Magic System still claim the zouglou matrix while opening the windows to other textures. It’s an opportunity to rediscover the quartet’s energy, their rapport with the audience and that immediate way of turning a hall into a dance floor.
