Two Door Cinema Club

Two Door Cinema Club returns to Paris on 30 January 2027 at the Salle Pleyel to mark the 15th anniversary of Tourist History. The Northern Irish trio — Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird — will play the album in its entirety, then draw from the rest of their discography. Released in 2010, Tourist History established their signature sound: melodic guitars, taut rhythms, a supple bass and immediate choruses, all crafted for the stage.

Born between Bangor and Donaghadee and first noticed via their EP Four Words to Stand On and then by the label Kitsuné, the three refined the formula on Beacon with Jacknife Lee, before opening up further to synths and New Wave and disco influences on Gameshow and False Alarm. Keep On Smiling extended this shift toward electronic pop without losing the indie momentum of their early work.

Live, the band strings together concise, hooky songs, alternating post‑punk revival energy with more synthetic textures, featuring staples like What You Know, Undercover Martyn and Sleep Alone. Opening act: The Royston Club.
