With Dalton Davis, a Carolina-born artist whose country blends outlaw grit, soul shades and a feel shaped in part by time around the hip-hop scene. Raised in Gastonia and later adopted by touring gospel musicians, he puts voice and lived experience at the center of his writing. Now based in Nashville, he has shared bills with Kameron Marlowe, Brantley Gilbert, Midland, Ashley McBryde, Gary Allan and Dwight Yoakam. Tracks like Cows In The Front Yard and Redneck and You Know It carry his direct, roots-focused approach into the present.
