On December 9, 2026 at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen, The Scratch bring their acoustic firepower to the stage. Formed in Dublin by former members of metal outfit Red Enemy, the quartet channels hardcore energy into an unplugged setup where rapid acoustic guitars, crisp percussion and shouted harmonies drive songs that swing between Irish folk roots and punk bite. Live, they play on dynamics and collective vocals, moving from tightly wound rhythms to sudden breathers. The set draws across Old Songs and The Whole Buzz through Couldn’t Give A Rats and Mind Yourself, keeping melody upfront while letting that percussive edge push each chorus forward.
DUG open the night. The duo of Lorkin O’Reilly and Jonny Pickett craft a modern folk shaped by time between America, Scotland and Ireland. Banjo and resonator guitar carry story-led tracks that mix tenderness, dry humor and a steady pulse. Songs like Big Sundown and Jubilee show their ear for unfussy hooks and close harmonies, setting a warm counterpoint before The Scratch take over.
