Magic System

For thirty years, Magic System has been bringing Abidjan’s zouglou to the stage. A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino mark the anniversary with a tour that puts their classics front and center, driven by sing-along choruses, percussions that invite dancing, and keyboards tinged with afro-dance.

On the bill are the indispensable “Premier Gaou,” “Bouger Bouger,” and “Magic in the Air,” as well as more recent tracks that extend their shift toward African pop without abandoning the zouglou roots.

Born in Anoumabo, the quartet has built a direct, collective sound nourished by everyday stories and a pulse made for live performance. On stage, the group engages in back-and-forth with the audience, stringing together call-and-response exchanges, dance steps and choral refrains to create a simple, effective party atmosphere.

Magic System celebrates its 30th anniversary on 28 February 2027 at the Arkea Arena. This tour stop lines up the hits and the band’s new directions, with an immediately recognizable rhythmic and vocal signature that spans Côte d’Ivoire, France and international stages.
