On 18 November 2026 at Melkweg, Amsterdam, Master Boot Record and Fulci share the bill for a night where metal collides with electronics and cult horror, with Arottenbit as special guest.
Master Boot Record deals in glitchy computer metal: heavy riffs fused with electronic beats and the retro timbres of vintage computers and chiptune. The engine behind the project is Italian artist Vittorio D’Amore, whose love of code and old hardware runs through a long list of releases, including the recent Hardwarez. After a sold-out stop at Melkweg and tours with Carpenter Brut and Igorrr, the live setup returns to Amsterdam to push this synth-metal hybrid on stage, with saturated leads standing in for guitars and a palette lifted from early PCs.
Fulci brings death metal into dialogue with cult horror. Live, the band leans on atmosphere: stark visuals, eerie synth passages and tight staging that make the set feel closer to a film than a standard show, openly nodding to the work of Lucio Fulci. Riffs, tempo shifts and sound design are assembled like scenes, drawing you into a bleak, cinematic space. Arottenbit completes the lineup with a raw chiptune attack that tears into sludge, punk and techno energy, often wrung from a single Game Boy.
