On 10 April 2026, SBTRKT lands at Parallel in Amsterdam for his first DJ set in the city in more than ten years, with Amsterdam native JAEL at his side. An evening that draws connections between UK bass, house, post-dubstep and soulful electronica.
Behind the mask is the British producer, songwriter and DJ who helped shape the sound of the early 2010s. With a steady stream of remixes and his self-titled 2011 debut album, featuring longtime collaborator Sampha, SBTRKT charted a course where house, post-dubstep and idiosyncratic pop intersect. His productions and remixes for the likes of Little Dragon and Drake quickly found their way into clubs and festivals worldwide, while his masked live shows secured him a distinctive place within the electronic scene. At Parallel he returns to the decks for a DJ set that connects his various chapters.
Alongside him is JAEL, an Amsterdam singer, songwriter and producer. As one half of the electronic-soul duo GLXY and through collaborations that span the city’s hip-hop, R&B and electronic scenes, he has developed a sound that fluidly moves between soulful vocals, club rhythms and forward-looking electronics. His sets dovetail seamlessly with SBTRKT’s palette and organically get the room moving.
