Roméo & Juliette

Roméo & Juliette, composed by Gérard Presgurvic, spans the ages while preserving the heart of Shakespeare and songs that have entered the collective memory, from Les Rois du monde to Aimer. Born at the Palais des Congrès in 2001, the production has toured 20 countries in 18 languages, originally led by the duo Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara. For them, these roles were formative; reprising them years later, with the maturity they had gained, brought new shades to the Veronese couple and to the way their story is told on stage.

Relaunched in 2027 in a rethought version, the show brings together a new cast, brand-new costumes and updated scenography, without betraying its DNA: signature songs, pop energy and an aesthetic designed for large stages. The love story remains at the center, with the timeless question: how far will you go for love?
