Sam Sauvage

Sam Sauvage plays Le 106 in Rouen on November 14, 2026. A singer-songwriter from northern France, he fashions an alternative pop informed by ’80s rock, new wave and a very visual approach to songwriting. The music features taut bass lines, nervous rhythms, angular synths and a melancholy that stays in motion. His lyrics, direct and image-rich, glide from the intimate to the collective without weight, carried by a voice with a raw edge and a production that mixes retro nods with contemporary drive.

On stage he pushes his songs toward something physical and precise — between singing, spoken passages and abrupt breaks — with a presence that sometimes borrows from theatre without leaving the realm of rock. Revealed by a self-titled debut EP on Cinq 7, Sam Sauvage continues to hone his signature, somewhere between rhythmic nervousness and a strong sense of motif. Touring and deep in studio work, he is preparing the release of his first album, announced for 2026.
