Bandit Bandit set down their guitars at La Maison Bleue in Strasbourg on May 29, 2026. Born in Montpellier, the duo has carved out a place for themselves with French-language psychedelic rock, driven by direct lyrics, distorted guitars and tempos that take their time. From their first EP in 2019 to Tachycardie in 2021, the band plays the tension between heavy ballads and more urgent tracks, alternating whispers and detonations. Their album 11:11, released in 2023, pushes these contrasts even further, ranging from hypnotic soundscapes to catchy choruses and touches of cold wave. On stage, Bandit Bandit tightens the frame: interlacing vocals, grainy riffs, a rumbling bass and drums that hammer just enough to raise the pressure. The aesthetic is carefully crafted but always in service of the sound, with the live show conceived as a tunnel of atmospheres—unadorned, where every buildup finds its release. In Strasbourg, the duo reworked their repertoire by playing with dynamics and textures, delivering a dense, immersive set that favors impact and sustained tension.
