Poetic Lover returns to the stage with the Poetic Tour on May 30, 2026, at the Casino Barrière Toulouse. Formed in Paris around the voices of Dré, Little T, Rod and Jay Kamel, the quartet first made a name for themselves in 1997 on Graines de star before signing their debut album in 1998, driven by precise harmonies and an R&B nourished by American influences. On stage, the focus is on the songs that shaped their identity, from “Prenons notre temps” to “Qu’est-ce qui pourrait sauver l’amour,” not forgetting the ballads and mid-tempos of “Conquête.” The four singers play with vocal balances, alternate a cappella passages and carefully crafted arrangements, and revisit a repertoire that accompanied the late 1990s in its francophone incarnation. It’s an opportunity to rediscover the chemistry of a French R&B quartet, presented in a format tightened around the voices and the groove.
