Info
Hiba Tawaji invites Ibrahim Maalouf to the Opéra de Limoges on December 4, 2026. A singer and actress trained in Beirut, discovered in France through The Voice and later in the role of Esmeralda in Notre-Dame de Paris, Hiba has built a repertoire where Middle Eastern pop intersects with arrangements close to classical and jazz. Between songs in Arabic and in French, she offers a precise interpretation, rooted in the Lebanese tradition and enriched by her stage and recording projects.
A Franco-Lebanese trumpeter and composer, Ibrahim Maalouf has forged a career shaped by family heritage, conservatory training and collaborations for stage and screen. Accustomed to collaborations and orchestral formats, he blends jazz and Levantine music with a keen sense of dialogue. On stage alongside Hiba, he creates a melodic interplay that answers the voice, through counter-melodies, improvisation and cinematic textures. Together they revisit pieces from their repertoires and build bridges between chanson, jazz and Arabic influences, in a presentation conceived for the acoustics of the Opéra de Limoges.
