ALLEGAEON
On 6 September 2026 at Le Petit Bain (Paris 13th), Allegaeon presents The Ossuary Lens with Ezra Haynes back at the microphone. Their seventh album and a deliberate turn toward a more direct, technical sound, it condenses what the band calls their "melotech": a death metal in which virtuosity serves clear melodic lines. Not a concept album per se, each track explores a different perspective on death, echoing lyrics nourished by science and introspection. On stage, these tightened compositions alternate speed, precise syncopation and abundant, layered guitars, driven by raspy vocals once again brought to the forefront.
GOROD
With The Ember Gone, the five-piece from Bordeaux continues a more progressive approach without giving up the rigor of tech-death. Recorded at Bud Studio by Mathieu Pascal, the album plays on contrasts: razor-sharp riffs, detailed arrangements and immersive atmospheres. Its concept and lyrics, rooted in the real world, examine our era while retaining fluid, accessible songwriting. Live, Gorod blends groove, rhythmic precision and clear harmonies, delivering dynamic shifts that command the stage.
