Typh Barrow

On 21 November 2026 Typh Barrow will perform at the Cirque Royal in Brussels. The Brussels singer and pianist builds her songs around a low, expressive voice and a piano that moves between soul, pop and jazzy accents. She sings in English and in French, with harmonies that reference blues and gospel. Since the early 2010s she has released singles and EPs and, in 2018, the album Raw, which traces personal journeys and relationships. Live she alternates the intimacy of piano-and-voice with multilayered arrangements with a band; dynamics and space steer the set, without frills that would overpower the song. You’ll hear tight hooks alongside open, breathy passages, and lyrics that remain close.
