Info
Camille returns to Le Silo in Marseille on 2 April 2027 with The Sound of Milk, a project that has matured for more than fifteen years and is conceived as a triptych. Nine years after Ouï, she weaves on stage a thread that connects Naissance, a sound diary recorded without instruments in which voices, breaths, lullabies and fragments of maternal daily life become music; Enfance, a small musical comedy captured at home with family choirs, acoustic tunes and live-recorded songs; and Adolescence, a pop turn co-produced with Clément Ducol. On stage are the sympathetic strings and timbres of Pierre-François “Titi” Dufour on cello, Christophe Mink on harp, Martin Gamet on bass, and a songwriting approach that opens onto pieces such as Le Voyage (written by Diane Warren), À nos enfants, GTB, La Terre, Si tu souris aux anges and No Miracle.
With highly developed work on voice and rhythm, Camille explores joy, the feminine, motherhood, childhood and transmission, and questions the way we live in the age of screens and ecological emergencies. The concert is where the intimate meets contemporary pop—between a cappella, choirs and driving pulses—to allow the song and the stories that inhabit it to circulate.
