Oddisee, also known as Amir Mohamed el Khalifa, arrives at Sala Apolo in Barcelona on May 23, 2026 with a live show that blends hip-hop, jazz, soul and funk from a perspective bridging Washington D.C. and Sudan. As an MC and producer, he crafts reflective lyrics that address identity, social awareness and personal growth over precise, warm instrumentals layered with samples, clean drum tracks and a present bass.

Active since the 2000s, he moved through the East Coast independent scene and was part of the trio Diamond District alongside yU and X.O. As a solo artist he has released People Hear What They See, The Good Fight, The Iceberg and To What End (2023), as well as the EPs And Yet Still (2024) and En Route (2025).

His collaborations with Bilal, Talib Kweli and DJ Jazzy Jeff leave their mark onstage: clear raps, organic arrangements and a groove that advances without showiness. In Barcelona, Oddisee reviews phases of his career and presents recent material in a performance driven by melodic pulse and lyrics that observe everyday life without losing focus.
