Austin TV

Austin TV is a benchmark of independent instrumental rock in Ibero-America. Between 2001 and 2013, their instrumental, voice-free approach, the use of masks and a self-managed spirit marked a generation and shook the Mexican scene with a DIY ethic reminiscent of Fugazi. They now return with a live show that looks to the present without losing its roots.

Throughout their career they moved from DIY venues to major festivals such as Vive Latino, Coachella and Rock al Parque, always under the motto 'Your face doesn't matter; you matter', which explains their anonymity on stage. Their sound weaves melodic guitars, synthesizers and noisy textures, with shifts in dynamics and crescendos that function like little soundtracks.

After a decade-long hiatus, they reappeared in 2023 and released their sixth album, Rizoma. At Dabadaba in Donostia / San Sebastián, on June 12, 2026, they present a set that blends Rizoma with pieces from their early records: interlaced riffs, precise drumming and loops that make the body move without a single word. An experience designed to be heard collectively and to uphold, once again, their longstanding motto.
