Brooklyn’s TVOD bring their genre-blurring charge to Neue Zukunft in Berlin on 25 June 2026. Led by singer-songwriter Tyler Wright, the band snaps from post-punk angles to egg punk bite and krautrock pulse, pairing driving rhythms with lyrics that swing from blunt to tongue-in-cheek. The songs lean on momentum and hooks, built for a room that wants to move without losing the grit.

The project began in 2019 with a high-energy cassette tracked by Wright on a 4-track in a DIY basement, and grew through two self-released EPs — Daisy (2020) and Victory Garden (2021) — plus the singles Alien, Mantis, Goldfish and Poppies, and a couple of short-run 45s. Press has linked their sound to a line running from The Pixies to Dry Cleaning, with sharp guitars, motorik grooves and a taste for tension-and-release.

Wright’s writing pulls from NYC nightlife and the DIY grind: heartaches, late nights, even WWII fragments and the small tragedy of a pet fish. The stories sketch the ups and downs of making art in the city, equal parts raw and deadpan. Live, TVOD channel that energy into tight turns and choruses that hit fast, coaxing the crowd forward.
