Grupo Frontera

On July 6, 2026, Grupo Frontera lands at the Starlite Festival - Auditorio Marbella with the blend that defines them: cumbia, norteño and romantic balladry shaped by pop. Formed in 2019 in the Rio Grande Valley, between Texas and northern Mexico, they went from playing private parties to going viral with their version of “No se va” in 2022. Since then they’ve built a repertoire that mixes original compositions and reworkings of Latin hits, with the accordion front and center, guitars and a relentless, danceable pulse.

In concert, the band amplifies that DNA: sing-along choruses, cumbia cadences that push the dancefloor and quieter, more intimate moments. There are nods to the new regional wave they’ve collaborated with — Fuerza Regida, Yahritza y Su Esencia, Peso Pluma — as well as their popular track “Un x100to” with Bad Bunny. With their debut album, El Comienzo, as a foundation, the band asserts an identity rooted in the norteño tradition of South Texas while remaining open to contemporary pop radio. A set designed to make you dance without losing your composure or the lyrics.
