Ghinzu

On 29 October 2026, Ghinzu will play Forest National. The Brussels band, formed in the late 1990s, builds its sound around a central piano, cutting guitars and a taste for cinematic atmospheres. Led by singer/keyboardist John Stargasm, Ghinzu moves between alternative and indie rock, with electronic keys and structures that build and release tension.

Live, it’s all about contrasts: raw energy alongside orchestral colours, intimate moments that unfold into long, expansive passages. That approach runs as a thread through Electronic Jacuzzi (2000), Blow (2004) and Mirror Mirror (2009), records on which the band plays with tempo shifts, dynamic ruptures and spatial arrangements. The result on stage: songs that breathe, accelerate and slow down, without losing the melody.

Ghinzu brings this hybrid approach to Forest for a set that will sharply showcase their signature mix of piano, guitar and synths at Forest National on 29 October 2026.
