HAEVN

On 10 December 2026, HAEVN will perform at the Muziekcentrum in Enschede. The Dutch duo — singer Marijn van der Meer and composer/producer Jorrit Kleijnen — work with a cinematic pop sound in which folk-inspired melodies, piano and subtle electronics come together with strings. Known for 'Finding Out More' and 'Back in the Water', HAEVN places vocals and melody at the center, with spacious production and rhythms that keep breathing.

Live, the songs unfold step by step. Small keyboard motifs and gentle percussion set the tone, after which synth layers and strings broaden the soundscape. Tracks from 'Eyes Closed' and 'Wide Awake' gain new contours on stage: calmly constructed arcs of tension, added texture, and details that slowly come to the fore. Marijn’s clear, fragile vocals carry the melody; Jorrit shapes the harmonies, piano and sound design. Expect a set that plays with dynamics, shifting between stillness and full arrangements, and repeatedly returning to melody and atmosphere. The result is a concert that stays close to the core of HAEVN: pared-down, emotionally charged and focused on the story in each song.
