On May 8, 2026 at Le Dodu in Marseille, the album Marseille&Friends comes to life on stage. Conceived as a gathering of old and new faces from the city, the project brings together MCs, producers and DJs to perform the album in full, with solo spots, cross-featurings and a few classics pulled out for the occasion.
Faf Larage brings his narrative, direct rap rooted in Marseille culture. Napoleon Da Legend, a Franco-Comorian MC based in Brooklyn, moves between French and English with attentive writing and a taste for boom-bap atmospheres. Mofak stamps the instrumentals with his funk touch, while DJ Suspect holds the thread on the turntables.
Around them, a large family of artists takes the stage: IMHOTEP, MAZE, K-MELEON, MISCELLANEOUS, INOKI, JO POPO, MUGE KNIGHT, MISTA DIDUS, COSTELLO, GINO 1313, LABO KLANDESTINO, BLAZE 5th, Dj RIDDLE, APPOLONIE, ISSA NAIMO, RAGER, JOHN STEED, DJ CALI and other friends. Between lyrics, beats and complementary energies, the release party performs the album’s tracks live and opens up space for connections between generations and styles, serving as a sonic postcard of Marseille and its allies.
