Two Door Cinema Club brings the Tourist History 15th Anniversary Tour to History, Toronto, on 3 October 2026. Formed in Northern Ireland by Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird, the trio blends agile guitars, nervous rhythms and electronic touches. Fifteen years after Tourist History, the album that launched their direct melodies onto international stages, the band dives back into the energy of its earliest tracks while broadening the spectrum to the rest of its trajectory: the pop-and-synth openness of Beacon; the disco and new-wave inflections of Gameshow and False Alarm; and the more measured contours of Keep On Smiling. The set is designed for the stage, built on short songs and an immediate sense of motif.
STRFKR opens the evening. Born from Joshua Hodges’s intimate project and extended with Shawn Glassford and Keil Corcoran, the Portland band draws a line between indie pop and synth-pop, driven by pronounced bass lines, melodic keyboards and a light vocal. On stage they alternate electronic grooves with softer passages, drawing on Reptilians, Miracle Mile, Being No One, Going Nowhere and Future Past Life to create a danceable atmosphere without losing the introspective thread that runs through their discography.
