RONDÉ

RONDÉ will play on 12 September 2026 at Caprera in Bloemendaal. The Utrecht-based band, formed at the Herman Brood Academy, revolves around singer Rikki Borgelt and a core that smoothly blends indie pop and synth-pop. Straightforward choruses, bright guitars and pulsing synths form the foundation, with plenty of room for harmonies and light, open atmospheres. On stage RONDÉ opts for compactly written songs that quickly open up: verses that build toward a hook, beats that pull toward the dancefloor, and melodies that stick without losing momentum.

Since their breakthrough with “Run,” the group has amassed a string of tracks that translate strongly in concert, from “Naturally” to “Bright Eyes.” The self-titled debut album (2017) set the framework between radio-friendly pop and more atmospheric textures; follow-up Flourish (2019) pushed the electronics forward and sought a balance between introspection and drive. In Caprera the band continues that trajectory: a tight rhythm section, breathing synth layers, and vocal parts placed front and center in the mix. No frills—rather a focus on dynamics and the collective interplay that carries the songs.
