Alex Lutz « Sexe, Grog et Rocking Chair »

Alex Lutz returns with Sexe, Grog et Rocking Chair, a show in which he explores our contemporary tics and their paradoxes. We gallop, we scan QR codes, we type passwords, we upload, we lose reception, we protect our data, we move to the cloud, we deal with data centers, we refocus, we breathe from the belly, we reboot, we walk in the woods, we transfer, we free ourselves, we sort, we practise self‑kindness, we build resilience, we detox… And then the personal rises up: we bury a father, we face it, and we still laugh. Lutz lets voices, rhythms and characters circulate, with that sense of play that runs through his solos as well as his film roles and musical outings. Between stand‑up, character work and songs, he captures the speed of the times, points out our connected contradictions and slips in a lucid melancholy without weighing it down.

After his two Molière Awards for Comedy (2016 and 2020), he continues his journey with a fresh, nervy and playful text where everyday observation meets the joy of the stage.
