Goldmen - Concert Best of Goldman

Goldmen brings Jean-Jacques Goldman’s repertoire back into the spotlight with a Best Of tour. On May 12, 2028, at the Zénith d’Auvergne in Cournon-d’Auvergne, the group dives back into the songs that have defined several generations, from solo hits to Fredericks Goldman Jones pieces, respecting the original keys and the spirit of the arrangements.

Led by Alain Stevez’s voice, very close to Goldman’s timbre and inflections, and by Sabrina Belmo’s, who takes up the role left by Carole Fredericks with breadth and warmth, the seven‑musician collective plays tightly and precisely, while giving the lyrics room to breathe. The programme includes Quand la musique est bonne, Je te donne, Un, deux, trois, Né en 17 à Leidenstadt, À nos actes manqués, and other refrains the audience knows by heart.

Without pursuing imitation at all costs, Goldmen relies on an unapologetic sonic fidelity and a direct onstage energy to let the melodies flow and to put the songwriting back at the forefront. An evening conceived to rediscover this repertoire on a grand scale, carried by a seasoned ensemble and vocals that echo the original without betraying it.
