No Cigar

On 16 November 2026 at Le Hasard Ludique (Paris 18th), No Cigar arrives with its blend of psychedelic rock and groovy guitars. Hailing from Aotearoa/New Zealand, the quintet released three albums in three years: Bienvenido (2022), The Great Escape (2023) and Under The Surface (2025). Largely written in Chantilly during their 2023 European tour and completed in New Zealand with producer Connor Jaine, Under The Surface distills their approach: flexible riffs, rolling rhythms and a sense of storytelling, all carved for the stage.

On stage, the band plays collectively: two guitars in dialogue, a rhythm section that moves forward without force, and vocals that lock onto the choruses. The set draws from their three records, moving between psychedelic pulses, clear grooves and instrumental breathers. No gimmickry, but arrangements that build, leave space and then take off again — like a ride that changes scenery at every turn. Backed by energetic performances since their beginnings, No Cigar presents here a direct, precise live show, designed to render their songs up close without losing the group’s momentum.
