Multi-instrumentalist Graham Jonson, aka quickly, quickly, from Portland, draws on his roots in beatmaking, indie pop and modern soul, translating them into vibrant, unpredictable psych-pop. With The Long and Short of It (2021) he made the basement-studio cosmos Kenton Sound audible; in 2025 he followed with I Heard That Noise, an album that pairs intimate folk sensibilities with adventurous sound design: present guitars and pianos, sudden chord changes, deliberate distortion, with echoes of Phil Elverum, Dijon and Nick Drake. His pieces oscillate between gentle ballads and swelling crescendos, carried by a refined melodic instinct and dense atmosphere.

On 31 May 2026, quickly, quickly brings these contrasts to Badehaus Berlin: warm, precise, and combining hi‑fi clarity with homemade energy. On stage, grooves, keyboard and guitar lines, voices and textures coalesce into an intimate set with room for surprises — direct, approachable and focused on the essentials: songs that breathe and remain in motion.
