On March 4, 2027 at the Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille, Thomas VDB returns to the stage with a set still in progress. He announces it plainly: at least an hour, a stage, lights, and an audience ready to open up. It’s his way of setting the frame and diving straight into what occupies him right now, between slices of everyday life, pop references and little quirks that cross the news. Mic in hand, he tests, adjusts, and restarts, working closely with the room.

A former rock journalist turned comedian, with experience on radio shows and stand-up stages, Thomas VDB feeds his writing with anecdotes, memories from the music press and sketches only slightly exaggerated. His delivery keeps a somewhat rock-like pace, his curiosity leads him where you least expect, and his taste for self-mockery links the subjects together. In Lille, he comes to road-test this material, sharpening it live, without artifice or needless concepts.
